VI Peel Exfoliates

The VI Peel utilizes a product trademarked by Vitality Institute Medical Products. It is a medium-depth chemical peel that penetrates the epidermis, the top layer of skin, and reaches into the dermis below. Similar to other chemical peels, a VI Peel exfoliates the skin and stimulates new protein production. The procedure is popularly implemented for treating signs of aging, improving skin texture, and correcting pigmentation issues.

Achieving desired treatment results may take several sessions. You may notice some improvement after your first VI Peel, with visible results after multiple treatments, over several months. The product used in the VI Peel is made up of a gentle blend of ingredients. VI Peels can safely be used on your face, eyelids, chest, hands, and back. According to the Vitality Institute, this treatment can be used on all skin types and tones, and in conjunction with other noninvasive procedures to achieve maximum results. At Hackensack Medical Laser, we treat a variety of scars including raised, depressed, acne, surgical, red, brown, and white. Complete diminishment or removal may require multiple sessions.

Vampire Facial

Micro needling with PRP

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is also known as the “vampire facial.” PRP is a procedure that first involves having your blood drawn from your arm. After platelets are separated out from the rest of your blood in a machine, they are reinjected into the treatment area. PRP treatment triggers collagen production by stimulating the body’s natural wound healing response.

Hair Loss Treatment

In dermatology, PRP is offered as a possible hair loss treatment and also to help promote younger looking skin. PRP can also help speed up wound healing. Reintroduction of PRP back into the skin encourages cell turnover, which increases collagen and elastin production. Your skin will look smoother, tighter and fuller. PRP can help reduce wrinkles and deep creases, plump sagging skin, enhance complexion, and diminish acne and other scarring. The procedure takes about 45 minutes to one hour, with little to no downtime.

Reducing Acne Scarring

Acne scars on the face, chest and back are very common in both teenagers and adults. A high percent of people struggle with acne, and one out of five of those people will develop scars. Reducing acne scarring may require treatment from a professional who is trained in LED Light Therapy.

LED Light Therapy

LED Light Therapy is non-invasive and painless. No recovery time is required after each session. While you may start to see minor results after your first session, up to 10 sessions, each spaced about a week apart, may be required to achieve optimal result.
Light treatments minimize current and future flare-ups and potential scarring with scientifically proven blue and red light therapy. Acne-causing bacteria are destroyed at the source, and inflammation is reduced, providing clearer, cleaner skin. According to studies, participants of all ages experience significant improvements in acne and scarring.
